BENIN—The Executive Director of Public Affairs to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, Hon. Henry Okpamen has urged the people of Edo state to support the All Progressive Congress, APC, governorship candidate in the forthcoming election in the state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.

Addressing newsmen in Benin, Okpamen urged the people of Edo State to come out en masse and vote for Godwin Obaseki and Philip Shuaibu, saying they are tested and trusted gentlemen to continue the visionary leadership style of Gov. Oshiomhole.
He charged Edo people to show more interest on who becomes their next governor in the forthcoming election, noting that the people knew where they were before Gov. Oshiomhole came to their rescue.
Okpamen further added that for continuity, the people of Edo State should support and vote for the APC governorship candidate to move the state to the next level and to deliver the dividends of democracy that the people of Edo state desire for, saying that it will be catastrophic if the people of Edo state do otherwise.
Hon. Okpamen advised the teeming people of Edo Central to disregard the crocodile tears of the PDP and her leadership over the plight of Esan people and continue to support Gov. Oshiomhole led government that has demonstrated a genuine and practical commitment to the development of Esan land and Edo state in general.
