Kwankwaso Qualified To Contest 2019 Presidency – Kwankwasiyya Group

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso

A Non-governmental Organisation (NGO), Kwankwasiyya Pillars of the Nation, has asserted that the former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is eminently qualified to contest the 2019 presidential election.

The group’s Chairman, Comrade Ja’afar Ishaq Gadun-Albasa, told newsmen in Kano on Wednesday that Kwankwaso had proven his mettle as a leader whose monumental strides were enough to instil confidence in the minds of Nigerian voters to elect him.

He said that Nigeria being a promising democratic edifice needs a person of the former governor’s calibre to preside over its affairs.

Gadu-Albasa said that Kwankwaso had taken the education sector in Kano to greater height, considering the stunning pace with which he sponsored the most gifted Kano indigenes to pursue various courses in foreign universities.

He remarked that such a giant strides wouldn’t have been achieved without his sincerity of purpose.

The group stressed the need for effecting a similar effort in Nigerian universities for knotty issues effecting the academia to be resolved in the interest of able citizens willing to acquire knowledge that can be useful to the nation.

Gadu-Albasa posited that Nigeria needs direction and focus in every sphere of human endeavour which entailed the doggedness of a leader like Kwankwaso who can withstand the challenge of taking crucial decisions at the most appropriate time.

He urged the electorate to use the intelligence quotient in electing the right candidate of their choice devoid of acceding to primordial considerations and warned that making a bad calculation would be inimical to national interest.
