The All Progressives Congress, APC, has released its schedule of activities for the governorship election in Osun State slated for September, 2018.
According to a document signed by the National Secretary of the APC, Mai Mala Buni, and obtained by DAILY POST, the party’s activities will commence with sale of forms on Monday, July 9, 2018.
Screening of aspirants is slated for Saturday, July 14, 2018, while the primary election to pick the party’s gubernatorial flagbearer will hold on Thursday July 19, 2018.
DAILY POST recalls that similar activities in Ekiti state preceded the emergence of former Minister of Solid Minerals and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi, as the Party’s flagbearer in next Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
At the Ekiti primaries, Fayemi polled 941 votes to beat Oni, who polled 481 votes.
