FG to review Buhari’s change agenda

The Federal Government has put in motion a process to review the change agenda of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari about four years after its inauguration.

The government also said when he assumed office in 2015, Buhari was confronted with two choices of either doing the right thing to reposition Nigeria or deepening the suffering of Nigerians.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Policy Development and Analysis, Ibrahim Bapetel Hassan, stated these in a statement on Sunday to herald the forthcoming National Policy and Development Summit, organised in conjunction with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Hassan said the summit would “review the change agenda with a view to highlighting successes recorded, challenges and lessons learnt in the past four years of the Buhari-led administration.”

He said, “Since the Federal Government’s change agenda is a journey with growth and development as the ultimate goals, there is the need for a review of the journey so far.”
