Nigerians want their money back – Garba Shehu fires back at Omokri

Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) has asked former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri to return all the money allegedly stolen under his principal’s watch.

He told Omokri that him and his acolytes should forget the dream of presiding over the affairs of Nigeria.

He accused Shehu of engaging in ‘transmission attack’ against the former First Lady while explaining “his boss’ colossal loss of popularity as the 2019 elections approaches”.

“Again, I am forced to respond to the childishness of the Nigerian Presidency under Muhammadu Buhari when his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu took aim at former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, making her collateral damage to explain away his boss’ colossal loss of popularity as the 2019 elections approaches. I would like to inform Garba Shehu that Dame Patience Jonathan is not responsible for the abysmal failure of the Buhari administration, neither is she a member of the Peoples Democratic Party.

“Would President Buhari like it if former President Jonathan rehashes the corruption allegations made against First Lady Aisha Buhari, by Senator Isah Misau?

But Garba Shehu in a reply via his Twitter handle said: “Tell Reno and his friends that Nigerians want their money back and they should forget about presiding over the affairs of this country.”

Shehu in an article on Sunday had said that ‘… former First Lady would no longer need lawyers to keep her mountain of gifts, counted in huge millions of dollars, billions of Naira, hotels and buildings.’
