As he marks his 70th birthday today, renowned essayist, academic and author, Prof. Adebayo Williams, has received glowing tributes from President Muhammadu Buhari.
SIMILARLY, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo felicitated with President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, as he clocked 65 yesterday.
The President, in a release issued yesterday by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, saluted the almost 50 years of scholarship, university teaching and contribution to public discourse that Prof. Williams has tucked under his belt, extolling him for being a source of inspiration to the younger generation and a pride to the nation.
On his part, Osinbajo described Oke as “a bridge builder, an exemplary leader, and a man of refreshing honesty, openness and genuine spirituality.”
In a congratulatory letter to the PFN leader, the Vice President and his wife, Dolapo, joined others in celebrating the revered cleric.
