The General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide, Prophet Kayode Abiara, has warned politicians not to make 2015 elections a do or die affair.
Although he described 2014 as “ a year of happiness, peace, joy, victory and achievement for those people who will obey and keep the commandments of God and for those who will listen to the directions of God,” he warned that the year would be terrible for those who reject the voice of God or continue to swim in sin.
Speaking on the 2015 elections, he warned to exercise caution ahead of the polls, saying: “politics should not be a do or die affairs; you should not make life miserable for the people, because whether you like it or not you will leave that position one day. So do the work that speaks after your tenure and death. Politicians should please watch their utterances because any negative word from them can inflame the nation.”
He reminded politicians to make use of their positions is to help the masses and listen to their cries.
