A Mermaid-like Baby Born in Ghana – A mermaid-like baby was born at the Suntreso Government Hospital in the Ashanti region.
The baby having a rare defect has just one leg joining his torso from the waist down to his two feet – also conjoined at the heels to resemble a caudal fin.

The baby has no genitals. Meanwhile, reports indicate he seems healthy at birth. Officials at the hospital have refused to comment officially on the issue.
