DSS Continued Incarceration Of Ifeanyi Ubah, The Man That Rescued Nigeria Against Oil Marketers Deifies Common Sense.

#FreeIfeanyiUbah!!!
Today is 27 days that Ifeanyi Ubah has been in DSS detention without trial except the media war and lies orchestrated by this government agency against him.
This is 168 Hours, a Federal High Court in Lagos granted Ubah unconditional bail and directed that the DSS should charge him to court within 48 hours or allow him to go home.

Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, CEO Capital Oil and Gas.

FACTS: NNPC Is owing Ifeanyi Ubah’s company Capital Oil and Gas about N16b for 18 months. Mr Ubah has exhausted every available means to get paid including petitioning the National Assembly and EFCC.

Ifeanyi Ubah runs a business not a charity, he notified NNPC that he is going to dispose their PMS (valued at N11b) in his storage to reduce their debt, as he has interests and related financial costs to sort out with banks.

The two companies, NNPC Retail Services and Capital Oil & Gas started their accounts reconciliation under DSS supervision few months ago according to Hope For Nigeria. The Nigerian secret police did not allow this process to be completed before they started the intimidation of Ifeanyi Ubah. Ubah’s lawyers went to court to ensure that his fundamental rights are not abused by DSS.

DSS in the next re-scheduled meeting arrested Ifeanyi Ubah and brew up some trump charges against him.

Their accusing Ifeanyi Ubah of sabotaging Nigeria is ludicrous, as this is the same man that rescued the country from the planned strike by Tanker drivers and Oil Marketers who wanted to hold the country hostage. We all remember that Ubah delivered over 50million litres of (Petrol & Diesel) across the country and killed the planned strike. As at this time, petrol was selling about N650/litre in some part of the country, if you will even see the products.

Ifeanyi Ubah should have being making super-gain of over N400/litre, but choose to save the ordinary people from the unbearable situation we found ourselves. He forgo the about N20billion cool gain he should have made, if he had joined the Oil cabal in the strike.

Today, according to Hope For Nigeria, Nigerians has easily forgotten a man of good heart to die in DSS detention without trial. Nigerians easily accept the lies of DSS against a Nigerian who have done what no other person has done for the country, especially in a recession economy why every businessman want to make profit to the fullest. Is this his reward of being honest and patriotic?

Ifeanyi Ubah’s company, had a commercial transaction with NNPC and any disagreement between them is a civil case which courts can sort out. It defies common sense why DSS that is not a party to their agreement should wedge into a business disagreement between two corporate entities and going at length to arrest and detain Ubah without trial for over a month even as a federal court has given him an unconditional bail.

NNPC’s interest was properly covered in the agreement with capital. Capital Oil in the Throughput agreement can sell products stored in their Tanks, but expected to replenish them within 7 days of a request. Failure to do this will attract a penalty, which included the cost of transporting the products to Capital Oil’s storage and 1% interest.
Nigerians must not forget that there are other smaller companies that signed similar agreement with NNPC. They used ‘Fuel’ stored in their tanks also, like Capital Oil, but Ifeanyi Ubah’s case is different as he is a marked man.

It defies common sense why the DSS should be involved in this and they turning themselves as a debt collector.

Netting off the transactions, NNPC Retail Services is still owing Ifeanyi Ubah about N5billion, therefore his continued incarceration by the Nigerian secret Police is the height of injustice and wickedness.

We assumes that the leadership of the DSS does not have the full details of this transaction as at the time of Ubah’s arrest and now the details are in the public domain, they have no excuse to allow his continue detention.
