Asmir Begovic comes into the Chelsea side for injured Thibaut Courtois and there is a start for John Mikel Obi alongside Nemanja Matic.

This is the first start of the Nigerian iternational, who has played less than ten minutes since the beginning of the season and was not invited by Super Eagles gaffer, Sunday Oliseh during last week AFCON qualifier in Tanzania.

Cesc Fabregas is expected to play in a more forward role behind Diego Costa with Willian, who returned from Brazil internationals on the other side of the Atlantic midweek, on the bench.

Kurt Zouma partners John Terry in central defence. Jamal Blackman is the substitute goalkeeper.

For Everton, into midfield for long-term casualty Tom Cleverley comes Muhamed Besic. Brendan Galloway plays at left-back in place of Brian Oviedo.

Chelsea are expected to line up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation:

Begovic; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Pedro, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa.

Subs: Blackman, Cahill, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Willian, Falcao, Remy .

Everton are expected to line-up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation:

Howard; Coleman, Stones, Jagielka (c), Galloway; McCarthy, Barry; Kone, Barkley, Besic; Lukaku.

Subs: Robles, Funes Mori, Osman,Deulofeu, Lennon, Mirallas, Naismith.

The referee is Andre Marriner.
